We are now seeking ambitious and talented office support staff with exceptional skills. To provide a first class comprehensive service to various departments within a large Local Government organisation. You will be working within very busy and at times highly pressurised environments. Your role will require you to perform various administrative tasks in addition you will be involved in ad-hoc projects. These positions are based upon long and short-term temporary contracts. Main duties and responsibilities Operate and maintain a range of administrative activities. Answering all divisional telephone enquires. Reception cover support in the absence of Receptionist. Dealing with internal and external e-mails. Database management. Provide administration support to ad-hoc projeccts. Setting up manual and electronic filing systems. Faxing and distributing internal mail. Photocopying and archiving confidential reports.
Person specification: Previous administration experience essential minimum 12 months. Public Sector experience essential Good working knowledge of all MS Office packages. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must be a team player. Has a flexible attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Highly organised with the abilty to work to tight deadlines Has the abilty to work well under pressure.
